Goof Gas Attack is the semi-finale story arc from the semi-finale season of Rocky and Bullwinkle (originally titled The Bullwinkle Show). It was broadcast on NBC during the 1962-63 television season.

After inventing Goof Gas in their country, Boris tries it out on Rocky and Bullwinkle. Rocky turns stupid and goofy but Bullwinkle is not affected. (It's stated that goof gas works on the brain, and Bullwinkle, not having one, is immune.) After seeing how easy it is to beat Washington (based on a newspaper that read "Boston Takes Washington Seven to Two"), Boris and Natasha plan a goof gas attack on Washington to take it over. They took a few days to get there by cab and went to the visitor section of US Congress and they then discovered the US was run by politicians arguing and debating the issues and giving speeches. What the politicians say makes no logical sense and seems to be goofy and so Natasha turns to Boris and asks "Boris is what he said, you think he already have some goof gas?" and Boris says "Natasha what he said, that is goof gas!" Later, Badenov and Fatale decide to use the same gas on a military missile-firing base. It works, and the Missiles are launched towards an unknown location. Rocky, Bullwinkle and Wrong-way Peachfuzz arrive and send them towards Pottsylvania. Boris is later interrogated by Fearless Leader about their latest attack, and Pottsylvania is struck while Fearless Leader is still interrogating him.
